We are proud to announce that Freeport Press has been awarded Best Web Printing (United States) at the America’s Print Awards 2025. Our entry, The Flow Trip, The Happy Issue (entered initially via Graphic Media Alliance regional print awards), was selected for its exceptional technical craftsmanship, creativity, and scale.
From concept through press, every detail mattered:
- The project was printed on Komori and Manroland web presses in a run of 26,000 copies.
- The cover showcases a bold HUV ink application on premium stock, enhanced by 1.2 matte velvet lamination and spot glass UV to deliver a tactile, dimensional finish.
- Inside, the text pages deliver a warm, silky reading experience using central-ink web offset inks on 60-lb satin text stock.
- The judges recognized not just the visual impact, but the precision and expertise required to manage specialty inks, color balance, and large-scale production while maintaining high quality throughout.
This award is a testament to the dedication, skill, and passion of our team; from prepress to pressroom operations and finishing. It reinforces our commitment to pushing the limits of what’s possible in web-offset printing.
