Fans of the CBS magazine Watch! will be watching the newsstand soon for a return of the media brand’s print edition.
“CBS says it plans to make a return to print with its entertainment title Watch! after going all-digital and cutting staff at the height of the pandemic,” writes Keith Kelly in the New York Post.
According to the magazine’s EIC Rachel Clark, the company temporarily pivoted to an all-digital format after its spring edition (which remained on some newsstands through the summer), and are going back to print for the November/December issue.
The magazine takes an in-depth look at the lives of the network’s biggest stars and is coming up on a big anniversary (15 years) next year. It’s great to see this publication returning to print after its ad base took a major hit in the spring. We’ll be watching for it!
