That’s the overriding impression we get from this week’s free fonts.
First up is Metropolis, a modern, geometric sans serif typeface that stands firm. Designed by Chris Simpson, it’s a minimalist font that’s missing nothing in the translation. Find it on GitHub.
Next, we have Norwester. This geometric, condensed sans serif font is the perfect headline choice. Strong and modern, we just love it and thank Jamie Wilson for putting it together. Find it here. (Note: the designer asks anyone who likes the font to consider a donation to the International Justice Mission; it’s a nice way to give back and support their important work.)
