We’ve got fancy fonts this week! Maybe it’s the warm spring weather, who knows, but we think you’ll like our two free font choices for this week.
Athene is a traditional font with a Greek classical feel, designed by Matt Ellis from Ontario, CA. The gorgeous ball terminals at the end of letters keep it from getting overly serious and give it a decidedly whimsical look, great for events, invitations, book covers and graphics.
Where Athene is decidedly whimsical, Fénix by Fernando Díaz and TipoType Foundry brings pure elegance. With a foundation in calligraphy, its strong serifs and rough strokes give it an extremely clean and classy look. Whether you use it for headings or paragraphs, it’s highly legible either way.
Both fonts are free, but as always we encourage you to support the artists who make all this good stuff possible. And check out our past posts for more Free Friday Fonts.
