Progress is fabulous; innovation is critical. But every once in a while (usually on Fridays, it seems) we like to throw it back to a simpler time. This week we bring you two fonts that may have you turning off your phone for a while and designing with pen and paper.
The first is Garment District, by Alex Joganic and Jeremy Vessey. This vintage inspired monoline script is perfect for all kinds of projects, from branding and product packaging to signs and ads. It comes with alternative options for each uppercase letter, which is super handy. Download free from PixelSurplus.
Next, we offer High Life Lite. A font idea from decades gone by, High Life has touches of Art Deco and is perfect for projects that require a touch of sophistication. It comes in serif and sans serif versions, both with additional special characters. Perfect for any vintage designs or when you need to make an impact — in the most elegant of ways. Created by Oban Design Studios and available from PixelSurplus.
Enjoy these two fonts, and I hope you’ll take the time to thank the designers that make these goodies available. See you next week for another Free Font Friday!
