Well Bless Their Hearts, It’s Free Font Friday

Straight out of the Old South is Julep, the first of our offerings on Free Font Friday. Created by Missouri-based graphic designer Jeremy Ross, the font features outline-style design with multiple layerable fill options. The set includes overlay fill shapes that can be used offset or layered on, for endless possibilities. It’s great for adding a sophisticated, slightly vintage style to typographic features. You can download free from Sellfy. (And note the “pay what you want” option … a great way to show the designer some gratitude.)

From the Old South to post-WWII Germany, we offer Ranga by TipTopTyp, a Berlin type foundry. Theitalic style font was inspired by old, hand-painted signs in Berlin common after the war; it’s on offer in regular and bold weights. Ranga is great for getting that retro, sign painter’s feel in advertisements, web banners, social media graphics, and more. Find it at Google Fonts.

There’s so much room for creativity in our work, and we enjoy bringing you fresh ideas and free fonts every Friday. Share them, thank the designers, and make something amazing.
