Design geeks, this one is for you. According to Sandy Hubbard at Print Media Center, the new Photoshop CC (Creative Cloud) updates are going to make it easier to work with fonts, among other things.
“Many of our PMC readers are beta testers and may have seen and used these features already, but now they’re now official for your customers and colleagues — so I’m giving you a heads up!” writes Hubbard.
Among the goodies now available, users can:
- Add fonts from Typekit
- Search for fonts
- Print 3D objects more easily
- Export color lookup tables
- Use enhanced features for blur gallery and other graphic manipulations
The updates also include enhanced Camera Raw functionality and Linked Smart Objects.
