We’re Going Global for Free Font Friday

Let’s all enjoy some remote travel and add some international flair to our designs with these two free fonts.

First up this week is Soviet League, designed and shared by Phil MacIsacc. A unique typeface for headlines, big text, branding, logotypes and display uses, its bold, san serif lines cheekily evoke the USSR of old. The font includes Soviet-era glyphs to complete the look. It’s free for personal & commercial use; download from DaFont.

From Russian with love, we head for the Hebrides. Scotland, an old-school blackletter display, comes courtesy of Open City Design. This font is perfect for Christmas cards and punk rock posters alike. The free version is for personal use only, and contains a lowercase alphabet. Download from Open City Design.

Enjoy your trip, and be sure to come back next week for another Free Font Friday. You never know where we’ll send you next!
