The Hand-crafted Font Fun Continues …

We’ve been on a roll lately sharing some amazing vintage-inspired and hand-crafted fonts on Free Font Friday. This kind of look is certainly in the zeitgeist, as consumers seem drawn to a less technical look and feel in almost everything.

And that’s a great thing for designers, who can now create looks designed to capitalize on the artisanal, handmade sensibilities so popular lately.

This week we start with Crafter, a sans-serif font, “hand-made with love” from Alabama-based 1871 Project! Crafter takes its inspiration from hand-painted metal signs and is perfect for logos, t-shirts, posters and more.  It would look great for headings on a website or print materials too! Find it free at PixelSurplus.

Next up is Bosk, a vintage-style handmade brush font that’s hard not to love. Created with a brush pen by Boris Garic, Bosk is suitable for anything that needs the handmade or “custom” touch.  Download free at PixelSurplus.

We hope you’re enjoying all of these great fonts. Stick around for more … and be sure to thank the designers and font sites that make our Free Font Fridays possible!
